well we had a bust night last night , changed my driveshaft on my car a couple of time cos i killed it and it was making a noise lol

then rexy says "should we drop engine out of the 1.0" and i say "why not"

Ohhhhh yes, I'm spraying it next weekend. Its being towed to work on thursday, from there i'm going to stitch the engine bay, full prep and then spray.

Should be a nice and busy weekend for me :D oh and i'm going to have to clean the spray booth at some point, then flat and polish it :D

Smalller update, Passenger door has now been de-locked, De-ariel'd and most of the repairs are now done, Should be in primer by friday/saturday. Thinking about changing the front o/s door tho as it has some rust starting to worm its way threw.

not sure if this one's got a name, but his old one was called that due to the plate ended in ANB

Jack, its an aweful colour matey it needed to be sprayed lol :D

This ones not called anything yet, usual referals such as the Coupe, baboon, ugly ****er etc etc usually get shouted, but the reg on this one is RNX one letter out lol.

Its a Ren colour this time, as opposed to a VW colour its a lot darker but still looks pretty cool. I've ****ed up on the bonnet tho, there is a run the size of a small country which. That will be flatted and re-sprayed 2mrw night. The engine bay needs stitch welding and cleaning up. Once I've finished with the welder its being sprayed the same colour along with the inside of the boot.

Overall the car has come out pretty well, considering this was my first car which i have sprayed, once flatted and polished It should look pretty good.

I need to source a mk2 rear Saloon bumper now, and find a contrasting colour for them. I did have Rexton1 in mind, but mr numpty here has lost the soddin colour codes to make it. So i've got a mk1 sr bumper sprayed in a delightful one off colour which is going to have to be taken back and re-painted :(

Engine should be *with any luck* in by the weekend... I doubt that tho to be honest. At least the engine bay will be fully sorted along with a nicely finished off body. Unless i burn threw with the buffer seeking that oh so pro finish lol.

Yeah, should be done tomorrow, ran out of activator or it would of been prepped and done tonight. Bonnet has been taken back and thats to be re-painted as well. I wasnt happy with the big durty run which was on there :D

yeah its a ren colour. just randomly picked it out from a few colour charts we had lying around. Just need to finish it off and get it at home and then start to rebuild it :D
