whats wrong ?

hi lads,just got my car back today after having a new engine fitted,everything is fine apart from on my digi dash,the battery meter keeps changing from 12 volts to 14 and back again,any idea ??

Only a guess, but i'd say unconstant charge from the alternator, or slack belt??
