The inside edges are going, it was easier to tell yesterday when it was up on the ramps having the exhaust done than it is with the camera at the moment.

They'll be replaced soon anyway, but if they're illegal then I can get mum to pay :D.

Yes, I know it needs a new drivers side CV joint gater, that'll be done in the next few days.

Thanks guys, I've been quoted ?36 each for generics, ?41 each for goodyear gt2's and ?57.80 for eagle f1's, all in. I'll hopefully get mum to pay for the generics, but add the rest myself for one of the better ones.

14" nova 3 spokes. The price for the f1s is the same as blackcircles or http://www.etyres.co.uk/ give or take a quid or two.

Legal lmit is >1.6mm across 75% of the tyre isn't it?

Yes it is razor, I generally say that if they're worn down to the TWI's in any area it's time to replace them. Xen, it might be worth getting your camber checked from what I can see in those pics.

From what I remember yes. Best way to check is get a tyre tread gauge. They only cost a couple of quide and simple to use. Measure the depth at 3 points across the width of the tyre and repeat at 6 points around the circumfrence. If you get more than 4 measurments under the 1.6mm it's time for some boots.
