have you got your lowered sus on in the last pic?

you've done a good job on it, looks awsome for a first car.

Very nice, skirts would look much better treated with vinyl trim stuff, or sprayed black.

their is still alot to be done including spraying up the skirts, the lip on the GTE rear bumper, colour coding the mirrors and door handles and GTE stickers on the sides. plus its going from 60mm atm to 90mm.

looking v-nice for a 1st car! and good show for your age to! personally id leave the lip on the fron bumper black, or even spray it metallic black maybe.

Keep up the good work matey!

Awesome work gone into that mate!

As said tho, spray the skirts and bumper lips black! I sprayed my old red GTE ones black and it really freshened up the car. Just use some Halfords Mat Black.

thanks for the comments. yep thats my idea to spray the lips and sideskirts black like the GTE not sure what black yet, i am thinking satin black or maybe a matt finish. I'll post some more pics once completed which hopefully will be soon.

word of advice - if you spray the front in matt black the stone ships/road debris etc will chip the fook out of it.

You could lacquer it but then it wouldnt be matt any more.

Best colour - anthracite (ford graphite grey is the nearest) - its metalic and looks pretty cool - you can lacquer it (which should be done for all metallics anyway) which will protect the paint underneath.

TBH - if you aint passed your test yet, I wouldnt even bother modifying it - simply because your insurance will skyrocket if you tell them youve got a modded nova - even if it is just a 1.2 - any mods you do (even bumper mods) will increase your premiums. I work in car insurance so know.

Also - I trust youre going to insure it yourself and not front it on your parents policies!??!

keep it standard - smarten it up a bit - the only mod would be a set of alloys tops.

I'll def give Ford graphite grey a look then if its close to the original colour. I have already got a quote of ?1300 with all mods listed including 'bodykit', lowered suspension and alloys. thats from admiral.
thanks for the advice though.
