Stiff Gearbox

Hi, I have a nova GTE with the standard F13 gearbox, Whilst driving at normal speeds the gearbox is fine, but, when driving the car hard the gears become very sticky and stiff and very difficult to shift down the gears. What could this be? The gearbox has been like this for over 4 years, it's solid, takes a good beating and makes no strange noises.Do i need a better grade oil? I've changed the oil a few times but that hasn't helped much.

Also what is the best gearbox for performance - F13wr or F13cr 4.18 fd ? What are the pros & cons of each gearbox?

Im going to the nurburgring soon so need my gearbox to be in good health!

Is your clutch cable set up properly? I had mine changed 2000 miles ago and its needed adjusting 3 times, not a hard job either.

thats a good call, as a clutch warms up, the biting point does tend to drop slightly, if your biting point when cold is quite low on the pedal, you might not be fully engaging the clutch when the box has got hot from a beating

Is it crunching? Could be synchros - my faff is like this.
