im lowered 60mm at the moment and i hit the bumpstops quite regularly during hard driving.

im pondering lowering more (poss 80mm+) and wondered if bumpstops need modified/removed?

if so, how?

Hi mate, 80mm eh? Is this a daily driver?! If it was me i'd save a bit of money and get some coilovers and drop it in the weeds whilst still making it fairly drivable, 80mm on standard mcpherson type struts is gonna be well harsh!! i reckon removing the bump stops is only gonna cause damage at some point, The shocker will bottom out. and cutting them down not too good either imo. :thumb:

www.coilsprings.co.uk (http://www.coilsprings.co.uk) do custom springs - can make you anything you want

if it is bottoming out, then I would advise raising it. I know it won't look so good, but it will go a lot better with more suspension travel.....
