what engine?

im planning on putting a new engine into my nova soon, not sure what to go for though! done the 2.0 16v conversion before and had a 1.6 GSi as well both are fun engines, now not sure what to do. the 2.0 16v would be the icing on the cake for the car i think (as well as a respray) but i also think a 1.6 would be good just to be different and tune that over a period of time.
Also thinking maybe 2.0 8v as iv never driven one before but not sure what they are like.
What you think??

C16XE perhaps? A 20SEH may be good with its 125/130 ish bhp and reasonable torque, but a C20NE is only marginally more powerful than a C16XE. The bonus of a C16XE over a C20NE is the weight difference, and I'd imagine the availablity from newer crashed Corsa Bs. I think theres a thread about the tuning of the C16XE here too.
Failing that, a 1.2 turbo...
