Just got a setup from a Veccy V6 to go on my Nova, it has 15 inch alloys and i know they should fit because we sell brake upgrades at work, however i offered the disc up to the wheel just to see exactly how big they were gonna look lol, and it looks extremely tight, bearing in mind the caliper has to go on

Im sure im just worrying but they should go on shouldnt they? Anyone else here done the conversion just to put my mind at rest?

They fit under SOME 15s, depends on the spoke design etc.
The disc should fit under fine, its the caliper that causes problems.

Tbh i wouldn't bother with 288s, they'll just leave your brake pedal on the floor when you have to brake.

Or do what burgo supposedly did and grind some of the caliper off.

m8 they go on with 15" wheels, but i guess some wheels have a bigger lip or spokes and might hit them, if you put the caliper on the discs you could put it in the wheel and line the hole up

Does you have a load of pedal travel tho before the brakes actually work?

Heres mine with 15" wheels and V6 brakes. very tight but look cool :D . had to take the balancing weights off of the inside of the wheel though as they fouled the callipers.

Yeah but Ad, my brakes dont work for half the travel anyway, aint it something to do with the mastercylinder/servo? cant remember which i get confused lol

I will obviously have to move the balancing weights, but my wheels have a slight lip just behind the spokes so dunno how much room there is

oh and steve do the softstars have a lip behind spokes i cannot remember

My 16v brakes work straight away on the 1.2 servo and master cylinder.
You should really notice no difference in pedal travel with 16v brakes.

no, they are smooth from inside to out.
