anyone know how good they are and how much it would set me back to have a 2L put in my nova mk1
hello mate, i will be having a conversion on my car in the next few weeks. and ive been quoted ?1500 for everything.

You could probably do it for ?500-?750 DIY.

If they're supplying mounts, shafts etc and do a tidy install its not a bad price if you consider labour rates for garages etc. It is a reasonably time consuming job.
Do you think they will hammer the chassis for the alternator or box weld and spray it?

p.s. its not that hard a conversion as long as you've got all the right parts together, done your research and al the prep work.

for the part's to drop a c20xe in mine cost me just over ?100, but i got stuff cheap
22 spline gte drive shafts - free
cav inner cv's ?35 each
mount - ?40
but on top of that, bay welded and painted,
