manifold + system, then a 2E3, cam it, head work and T40's possibly??

In that order would be quite good aswell

1. 2E3's are standard,

2. The cam is already quite aggressive so wouldnt realy be needed unless 40s and headwork is carried out,

I would say 4 branch manifold and exhaust for starters dont get a huge bore throughout because it will loose you power because you need to keep backpressure,

Service and rolling road tune and it should go pretty well without spending much money and keeping it good on petrol.

Get the bottom end lightened and balanced so it doesnt throw a wobbly when you rev the cohones off it. :D

its a carb, cant put induction kits on them, and they are rather pointless..

can used a bolt-on filter though

t40's and an sri head?

quite possible, as ive run that setup, a reprofiled irmscher inlet manifold coupled with a gasflowed + port polished Corsa SRi head with a 32mm Dia inlet.:thumb:

2e3 carb is on all 1.4Sr's, and all 1.3SRs made after 1985.

Id go with the 4branch and full exhaust firstly.

Then 40s and SRi head, or a weber 32/34 carb.

so wot is the difference between a 1.4 sr head an the 1.4 sri head

The fuel/air mix and exhaust gases flow better through the sri head, meaning you get more in the cylinders, and more power/torque.

Sr small square ports which i think was made to increase gas flow to give a more economical engine.

SRi, larger round ports and bigger valves. Much better head.

worked up sri head, t40's, 300deg cam and decent exhaust system for the highest output. 1300 head and inlet, 32/34 weber and exhaust for moderate improvements.
