Digi-Dash... anyone have pics in a mk1 Nova???

I'm fed up with the clocks going wrong in all my Novas!! Thinking about changing to a digi-dash to see if they're any better?? Anyone got pics of a digi-dash fitted to a mk1 Nova so I can see how it looks?? Are these just too tacky and common now, maybe I should just put up with my faulty dials?? :)

they seem common on here as nearly everyone on here owns a nova! but in reality there not common at all!

Do they slot right into the mk1 dash properly or do you have to chop things up?? Pics would be very helpful... :)

erm, same as a Mk2 iirc. As in having to file a bit off the top of the clocks themselves to get a snug fit.

I don't have any pics but you will have to chop a section out of the plastic ducting that goes upto the windscreen, then you will have to box it back up if you want to use the windscreen heaters afterwards.

They dont go into mk1 dashes very well tbh, needs quite a bit of modding.

They slot into mk2 dashs quite easily.

Whats wrong with your dials? Imo dials are a lot more reliable than a digidash, digidash has illumination bulbs and a lot of circuitry etc that could go wrong, whereas dials are a lot simpler.

All of the dials themselves are modular, so if you've got one working dial of each type, you can make a good set.

yer you need to do LOADS of work to get it in the mk1, i got mine in in the end but it looked a state, and then just wanted a new dash.

Yep i was going to fit one to my mark 1 dash but trial fitted it and saw how much work was needed and decided against it
