F13 on c16xe

I'm not 100% sure but i believe the pot type flywheel that comes on the c16xe fouls the box, I run a c16xe with f13 and use a nova flywheel and clutch tho, works fine. The bonus is that the nova flywheel is about half the bloomin weight of the corsa one! :D

well im going from a 1.2 to a 1.6 16v, will the fly wheel and clutch fit off that on to the 16v engine?

only ask as my F13 on my 1.2 is rather special its worth more than the car lol

Honest answer is i don't know.
I was told nova flywheels don't fit, which was wrong as i fitted a nova flywheel to mine lol! think mine was off a 1.4 iirc.

just took off the F15 box, bloody hell that fly wheel is big, and it dont look like a F13 will fit,

any mods i need to do? or will the F13 slider over that massive flywheel and clutch?

Stick to the F15 it has better ratios and can handle more power. Unless your F13 is straight cut I wouldn't bother swapping.

+ i would like to keep my F13 as its got a ATB and 4.18FD

Yes shafts will fit fine.

the f15 ratios are only slightly different to the F13 ones... (well the early F15's anyway)

Well no, you told me you had a f18/f17 cant remember which, gearbox on the TD.
Thats a big block box that would need big block cv's etc.

F15 is a small block box :roll: lol
