its not "huge" power.. but its fun to see.

due to the emmese ammount of climbingframe in the front and back its rather heavy so dosent run as fast a 1/4 as you'd expect but i imagine on track is hillarious

Good to see there is still great interest in the car! There was loads at PV anyway...
Nice chatting srs1 and ste , and all the other geezers I talked too! Had a great time...and made it back in 1 piece..

Got a 14.2something as my fastest time... Got off the line really well each tiime, but ran out of beef 3rd upwards really. I'm sure a touch of NOS or some cams would sort it, but thinks its probably time for a new car soon anyway...

Have not done that much to it recently (other projects on the go), but did wait 3 months for the diff to be re-built. Recently fitted some adjustable TCA's and tension struts and did some further modding to the rocker cover which i'm well happy with.

May head up there this weekend with it with a new set of leads on it as teh old ones have had it and I was suffering from a few miss-fires on my runs...

Nice one for the comments though! and see you at the next event..

i was just thinking about it and i really want to know where he got the drive shaft, rear diff, rear quarter shafts etc from? rascal van?! lol

Mike

cut down cavalier or calibra? Rascal van transmission is really weak! I know that as my mates got one, brilliant fun to drift in the rain though...lol

Lol cool does that mean you would be able to use the tansmission from a 4x4 calibra but cut down the drive shaft to the rear diff? therefore giving you a 4x4, single engined nova?

Mike
08-06-06, 03:36 PM
id imagine so yes. thats how corsa's get converted to 4wd for rallying though. I honestly reckon it would be very easy to 4wd a nova. One day, when ive got the space im gonna do it
