Another WIP for '06

Afternoon, this year marks yet another rebuild for my SR. I done a bit between December 05 > March '06. :wtf:

With the slam panel fitted + sprayed and new fuel tank fitted, retrimmed boot panels, sub now mounted flush into the spare wheel well, all stripped and retrimmed rear end im now turning my attention to the body work.

GSi kit now fitted (well, in september actually!) ive got a set of mint doors, gonna get new bonnet with impreza side vents which ive already got (not the main centre vent, the other two) and both wings with euro stylee vents in, an MPS s/steel cage, Samco's, fit my T4O's and billy head and eventually a NOS setup to the carbs, probably a cam & then spray the bay and car.

I've now got all the tools, a MIG welder, spraying equip etc. I'm just after a set of Raceline RL7's (or similiar) to get powder coated white and a disc braked rear axle.

Should all make for an interesting and pretty fast SR. I'll keep you upto date (with pics if i can) on the progress of little old stolen recovery beast! Glad the police found tbh??

Oh yeah, ive got about 90+ pics on my laptop so the next novaload meet ill bring them with me. :thumb:

i am tbh, as i dont need to drive it to work i can take my time with everything so hopefully it should come up mint

what with all the people i know in the trade, i get parts on the cheap anyway and using eBay a lot cuts the price down of modyfying cars for me!

you got it! Ive got that many trade numbers in my phone its unreal! I get parts at factory direct prices for my mates car's and myself!

It pays to have preiously have worked building and test driving rally cars :cool:
