i am putting a 1.4 sr engine in to my 1.4 spi nova,
as i am useing the spi loom, can i use my spi coil?

How are you using the SPI loom, it will have all the connectors for sensors etc that the 1.4Sr doesn't have.

Tbh, i think i would just swap the inlet/carb and the 1.4Sr coil/dizzy, and the Sr cam, you then basically have a 1.4Sr engine without swapping engines.

when i converted from 1.2spi to 14nv i used the standard loom
was in a corsa but its basically the same

SPi dizzy wont work too well on a 14nv, as the SPI dizzy isn't a proper dizzy.
It would be better with the correct SR dizzy/coil fitted.

yea ive tried to fit the sr diz but its different conections, my mate had this sr engine in ihs 1993 corsa with the 1.2 spi loom, but the car has now gone to the crappies so i cant see what they had done :(
how did you go about the conversion craig?
