hand brake cable. or rear brake pads or both ?

Over the last comple of weeks my hand brake is getting higher and higher like almost up right, i have done the tigher thingy at the back and i think the ajuster was moved when i did the wheel brearings, which one should i change,or both ? is it worth doing both as the weather is good ? any idea how much there are normaly ?

you need to adjust the rear brakes then tighten the handbrake cable. done mine a few weeks back.

yeah i have done that when i change my wheel bearing just wonderd if its gone padsssed that point now

just sling in a new set of shoes. they arent very expensive. just make sure you get the springs and adjuster nice and clean then regreased etc.

plus the cables might have stretched.
id also recomend getting new plastic runners for the corers of the bea where the bare cables runs round. only ?2 for 2 from vauxhall
