I have Corsa and I replaced the S10 engine /F10 gear box with C20NE engine with 2 Webber carbs and F13/5speed gearbox (it was on a C16NZ engine). So my guestion is how big tires can I put without breaking the gearbox. Now I am with 185/50/15 and they are burning up to 3th gear and it is around (100 km/h) .I think to put 205/50/15 slick-special race tires with greater friction. So ,I don't know what to do. The horsepower is arond 140hp and I cant do enough good start. that gearbox will break very easily if you put slicks on, you would be best off putting an f18 or f20 box in there.

i would say an f16 gbox would do it, and cheaper as well. My bro runnin a 2.0 redtop in a corsa, and i THINK his is f16, he is using AVON slicks on the front, no problems as of yet;)
