I have just got a nova sri, i want to spray some of the interior parts to match the others, make it very red has anyone got any pics of interiors where they have done this? can anyone tell me how i can remove the centre console ( bit where gear stick goes into) the dash surround, the centre dash part etc so i can begin sanding and spraying, also which sandpaper would be best to use?
I have sprayed bits of a Corsa C interior Arden blue. I rubbed the plastic down with 400 grade before spraying 4 fine ish coats of high build plastic primer to get the worst of the plastic grain out, then when dry, cut it back with 800 and applied 3 coats of blue. rubbed this back with 1200 then 1500 then put on 2 wet on wet coats of laquer. Waiting another week (2 weeks total) before polishing it with G3 or something. As its a mates I can't get pics immediately but email me djvbarlow@hotmail.com and I'll take a few for you.

sound like a lot of hassle doing it that way.
1. plasic prep
2. adhesionaid
3. prime & fil plastic
4. liquid plastic soft paint
job done
i start straying my MK1 one center colosol and heat control suround, looks good i think very tempting to do the whole dash but scard about talking it all out just do i can make it black.

A lot of work yes, but it needed to be that particular metallic blue and would look **** with the plastic 'grain' still on it. The finish is only as good as the amount of preparation and my way means its glassy smooth and looks quite good, although you wouldn't catch me clour coding the interior of my car, its not worth it on my ?400 Nova!!

never done my own dash but have been trained to do it in my work. i'd only do the black bits personally on my mk2 dash. leather or alacantra would be the only way for me even tho fiberglass looks good

Go to halfords, buy a haynes manual :p.
Your local library WILL be able to get the Haynes manual in for you. In the meantime, you can be going to car boot sales looking for the manual, I got my Volvo one for about 50p and my girlfriend found my Nova one in a charity shop for ?1.50!!
if u mean just the part around the gear stick u have to remove the sqaure covers (use a stanley blade or small screwdriver) an you will find the screws
