e16se questions

i currently have a 14nv engine with c14se head, kent cam twin webers. this is all in my corsa, since putting the head on and doing a few hundred miles its started smoking quite badly, only seems to be on lower revs though.

anyway what i want to know is will the e16se engine fit straight in? i know the inlet manifols is the same aswell as the exhaust and also the cam i think.
is the e16se engine a small block engine if it is then its ok to keep my gearbox right?

e16se is small block.

just read through chris' other posts so dont belive a thing he says.
so its a straight swap for the 14nv then? ill need the engine mount though yeh?

Straight swap, use the same engine mounts.

Also use your 1.4SR dizzy,coil and module if your running the T40s on it.
Ye, the cam will fit fine too.

im currently using the spi dizzy/ecu untill i can find a sr one

Yep, all engine mounts are the same on SOHC 8v small block engines.

i had to use a different mount when i changed from the 1.2 spi
just need an engine now lol

You shouldn't have done
The only nova engines requiring a different mount is the 1L and TD.
