have you any better picture's of close up on the rear arches, under the bonnet, battery tray, inner wings and sills?
Could be worth restoring, i really nova the front of your Mk1. The early front (infact the 2nd style front yours) was just lovely. I would love to see it kept orignal in the styling end of things, no later bumpers, maybe a nice respray but nothing like flip paint, and a nice set of rally style wheels like compo mo's. I'm sure you would love to have it track worthy with a nice powerful engine. I've gotta a piccy of something similar to your car, i'll have a look for it now.

Why do I never get to find stuff this cheap!?

I think I always end up getting ripped off... Maybe thats something to do with being thick though.

only difference in the body styling becuase this was a sport is the grill. I think your grill is nicer tho. Early mark 1 style nova's are getting more popular, i hope its going to keep going. Looks like a lovely car you have. Goodluck with it.

you can let me know when, cheers
Honestly, seeing your mk1 nova has reminded me of how much of an icon of the nova's where in the 80s, espically in england among the pre-genertion of chavs, basically the same as the chav but not as much evilness, all going in their SR nova's to the clubs. Wish i'd been old enough at the time when the nova was one of the coolest cars at the time among the youth, i suppose its because of the nova iconic snapshot in the early boyracer battle of the hot hatches days that nova's are becoming the classic growing each day
