Sounds like a great car. What excatly is meant by space framed? is it sorta like rear indepent suspension, like the trailing/swinging arms on a vectra

Space framed is just tubular steel frame isnt it?

The astras not space framed, his cut the rear turrets off the cally and welded them in separate and lined everything up, then got the prop cut short. it read 360 bhp on the rollers last week without nos on a omex ecu system, then out of the blue it melted a piston ( now the second time since the engine's been in) he is now on the case to find the problem. Take it from me it's F**king fast.

ooohh very nice, would be fun to see it go. Only thing i have problem with is the vauxhall chocolate 4x4 system, never actually seen any that work right. Done any 1/4mile's in it yet or is it still in the finishing off process?

cheers general, Im off to afganistan next sat for six months so cooper will have to finish my nova turbo for me.

The astra was going to the pvd show to run the strip for the first time but in the morning it started to play up big time so he got the aa out and took it home, took the head off and yet another melted piston. he was gutted i will keep everyone informed on how he gets on. total vauxhall are intrested in a seeing it but he wont let them until its mint.
