GTE Tune-up and injector cleaning...

I'm trying to give my 1.6 GTE a bit of a tune up and service. Have already replaced spark plugs and adjusted timing, which have made a noticable improvment!

What are the other main points to consider if I want to get the best out of the standard engine?

Was thinking of replacing the fuel filter and using some injector cleaner. What would be the best type of cleaner to use on this engine or is it better to replace the injectors completely? Engine has done 95,000 to date.

redex injector cleaner

and some kind of oil flush, i used it in my old nova, kinda done the trick as my oil was in a bad state and i done about 60k miles without 1 oil change! lol get it for about a fiver

but if youve got the money, can always go for the tune ups, K&N, boost valve, kent cam, lightened and balanced bottom end, skimmed head!
