i want to put a bigger amp altenator on my car as il be running a big system.what altenator could i use and would i have to change the belt size to?

try one off a diesel, and stick the biggest battery you can fit in. the belts are either thin or thick, but as long as you get the same manufacturer, the pulleys will swap easy

Ran a 16v 100amp alternator and Diesel battery on my old Sport to power Blackpool illumiations(Four Cibie Super Oscars) on my old Sport. Had to swap pulleys around and have a longer tension lever made up for it to fit
