which colour wires ????

need to know which colour wires run to the altenator and which colour run to the starter motor.

alternator is a light blue with greenish stripe

starter is a black with red stripe

Blue with white stripe i always thought alternator light was?

Blue/Green is oil pressure light iirc.

i thought it was blue ad white aswell but didt work when i tried it,but it did work when i tried the light blue with greeinsh stripe.
can you also tell me where the blue and green wire connects to for the oil pressure ?

My alternator light is blue/white.

The oil pressure wires connect to the back of the oil pressure sender, one wire then is wired into the clocks plug, and the other plugs into a spade terminal on the back of the clocks.
