im fitting the SR this weekend but im unsure as to whether i need to change tank/pump and fuel lines.

would save alot of hassle if i dont have to.

also, does the SR need a choke cable? (doesnt have on but i think it used to)

cheers all

SR choke is automatic.
So will need to wire that up, think there should be black/yellow wire taped up by the starter loom, not sure if its on the 1.2i loom or not tho.

You could change the tank, or replace the pump with a piece of fuel pipe which someone on here did.

simple as taking the pump off and replacing it with an equal lenght tube with the filter back on the end of the tube.

would be safer to change entire tank to a carbed one with mechanical pump though. Tanks arnt even that hadr to change tbf

or keep spi tank and use a fuel regulator?

i compared both tanks and il need to change them over

SPI has a built in pump, carb doesnt. will i need to change fuel lines too?

where can i get a fuel pressure regulator and roughly how much?

just rip the spi pup off, and replace it with a length of copper pipe with the wee strainer on the end.

Why do you want to do this anyway? std 14sr engines are useless ad the carbs are utter s**te
