few more fueling questions

at the moment im using my mechanical pump with a sytec regulator to take the pressure down to 3psi
i noticed a strong smell of petrol in the car today so i had a look under the bonnet and the regulator was leaking fuel, its only been on there for a few hours though.

what psi is the mechanical pump?
if i get a facet pump which can i use? redtop, silvertop or solid state? also what psi do each of these run?

standard mechanical normally pushes about 7psi, your regulator shouldn't be leaking from that pressure unless the seals have been damaged.

doesnt matter now, iv just removed the regulator and replaced it with a bit of pipe thats quite thin inside and this seems to have cured the problem and its still runs as good as it did
