Is the kent ast3 cam any good? either to run with standard 1400spi or t40s, cheers

Should be alrate on a T40 engine.
Not sure about on a SPI engine tho, dont know how the ecu/map sensor would react.

on T40's should be ok if you have mods to compliment it and also have it setup well.

erm not really lol the AST1 is marginally better than std, the AST2 is a great cam and the AST3 is a little lairier (think of pipers BP300 ish)

works well enough on dans engine........ therefore its a great cam lol. i know certain "tuners" dislike that cam claiming its crap but tbh no one has betterd dans 1/4 time N/A yet.... plus it owns well modded XE's on track...

AST3 is about 280duration iirc.

ive got a new one for my 1200, weber 32/34, head work, and exhaust

dans is a full built engine i thought he would have been running something stronger, there u are
