wiring a 1.6 16v into a 1.2 spi shell

ive got the 1.6 wiring harness and everything
do i have to cut in to the 1.2 wiring harness for any thing ie ignition, fuel pump etc (got a calibra turbo external pump to go on)

also which alternator bracket? is the nova one ok to use?

please help me lads coz its goin in next week and i need as much info as possible
