whats the easiest way to get them off...
need to changed steering column, and one of the bolts is one

though about drilling it out, anyone else got any idea's

Drill it or weld a nut to it.

Drill it & use an 'easy out' stud remover.

Left hand thread tap that basically winds the stud out as it tightens in.

or unblot the one on the right( looking at the coloum) remove the flexible joint at the bottom and push the coloum towards the floor, the coloum has a u shape at that side, and it just slides out, then cut the shear bolt with a hacksaw etc

i'm sure my mate used a pair of mole grips to take his out, i'll ask him to find out how he did it

ive got to do a Cavlier one aswell.. removal of columnas i cant get the damn steering wheel off! lol

hammer and chisel it. my dad has done this before. he said it works as i was going to do mine

pop to makro or somewhere like that if you can as they have a tool for removing rounded off headed screws and bolts etc, mine worked a treat when i did exactly the same thing

You can't beat a hammer and chisel - one good hit and you should be able to undo it by hand
