brakes

hi there, on my sri what are the best brakes to put on it. also i'm thinking of changing the rear drums to discs what do i need to do??? if i get bigger brakes wil i have to get bigger wheel, i've got 14" gsi wheels on at the moment.
any help and advice would be great.

Which type of wheels do you have?
3spokes or the black steel ones?

I've heard that 256mm(2L 16v) brakes fit under the black ones, but not under 3spokes.
Altho my black steel wheels wouldn't fit over my 256 brakes.

The drums do not need replacing, except on an uber powerful Nova. Paint them black and forget about them.

The drums are fine on any power nova.
People just have rear discs for the looks.

Black steelies are the ones off a Cav or Astra, its just a 14x5.j wheel (GSi wheels are only 14 x 5j) with 13 big holes or a 16 or so small holes, I'll post a pic if you want.
