View Full Version : Exhaust advice needed... look at these pics!

Pics below of the current exhaust on my Nova GTE. I want to get it replaced with something that just looks smart (no silly huge bore) and perhaps a 'gun metal' finish as opposed to chrome. I also want it to be quiet and as smooth as possible, without sacrifising power. Additionally the old one is aligned incorrectly.

Anybody have any advice about back-box makes and types that might be suitable as I can't find anything?! I'm based in NW London.

Thanks :)

I recommend Mongoose, and to make it satin black goto B&Q and get a can of black BBQ spray - got a tin this afternoon as I don't like the chrome tailpipes on my Corsa GSi Mongoose exhaust.

Powerflow - I think - have dealers around and about that will make you up a system to whatever specification (i.e. tailpipe style and exhaust note) you want.

Hi Ash, yes that's the Nova you're thinking of. Still looks great!! What's the note like on that back-box of yours? I want to keep things as quiet as possible really.

Luke.

eurorallye do a group a exhaust in mat black with a 2 inch pipe whitch is very quiet (rally exhausts have to comply with noise restrictions) . super quality and only ?110 for a full system. punch eurorallye on a search and check them out.
