What tyres would you guys reccomend to fit the nova 3 spoke rims?

I was thinking of upgrading the "generic" tyres to something like goodyear eagle f1's as im told these are a good tyre for the money, however the tyres that are on there are 165/65R14, and the smallest width that the eagles come in for a 14" rim is 185mm. Would it be wise/safe to fit those?

If not, what's the best option for a "reasonable budget" for these wheels?

Thanks.

www.mytyres.co.uk (http://www.mytyres.co.uk), A friend with a pretty much standard J plate GSi has fitted 185 50 14 budgets (can't remember the make) but I can't find any reasonable quality 50 profile 185s. I plan to get the 185 60 14 Pirelli P6 tyres which are 34 quid a corner at My tyres.

uniroyal rainsports if they do them.

Slightly less grippy than eagles in the dry, argueablybetter in the wet and about 2/3 of the price.

Eagle F1's or Toyo Proxes T1-S or T1-R - the R's being the newer design.

try 185/55 if you can't find the 50 profile.

www.etyres.co.uk is also a good site.
