I stripped the car as no one wanted it as a whole, the shell is apparantly sat in a workshop in Worcester, the guy that bought it was going to rally it. I've got a LET powered Nova GTE now so not all bad.
Always liked that one, very neat :thumb:
Especially like the wheels.......
Probably cos their on my gsi now lol

thats well smart, im sure ive seen it in a magazine before ??? was gonna ask why you dont have a fuel filler cap in the first pic, untill i scrolled down !!

lovely car that was, didnt realise it was yours Dave.
wheels are team dynamics motorsports if i'm not mistaken.

Yep wheels were Team Dynamics motorsport iirc, Bottlethroddy you can keep dreaming lol.
no way i remember seeing pics of it atleast a couple years ago. didnt know you stripped it all though.
also how did you go about fixing your side mounted buckets to the floor, as im after some but aint sure on how to fix them to the floor.

Buckets had weld in seat rails they were fitted at the same time as the cage, tubes welded across from the sill to the centre tunnel.
i have some wheels like that. are they et49? not many made in that offset afaik

They were ET 45 I think, not sure it's been a while since I saw them.
ah right i'll be doing that then, how big a tube did you use?

Haven't a clue as it was years ago now and the shell has gone to someone else.

is that boot-lid one of the early mk 1 items..........
or is it it 1 with the plastic grab handel removed and filled
i woz intending on doing this myself but i'm not 2 sure how it will look as the newr 1 has a larger recess for the numberplate
