hi....im need to know which nova to buy like either the 1.3 sr or the 1.4 sr. which one is better

Obviously the 1.4sr is a little bit quicker than the 1.3sr cos of the bigger engine size. The 1.4 also has more torque, which makes it easier to drive. Put a filter and full zorst on a 1.3sr and it will be quicker than a 1.4, so that might be a cheaper option 4 u.

You should also think about the styling. Do you prefer the mk1 front end or the mk2?

yeh but you can get 1.4sr's on a mk1 shape, some go up to H (old shape)

I've had 125 mph out my mk1 1.4 SR - Most of the speedo's wiil be fucked on them. I could of actually been doing alot less?????????

137 , 125 !!! hahahahahah

a standard 1.4sr will give out about 110 112 max. If you put a filter and exhaust on it maybe a bit more but never 137 on a standard 1.4sr no chance.
Unless you hadn't guessed, I have one myself.

Get a 1.4sr.
bigger engine
more power
more torque
they look better and cos theyre newer u should get less miles and less problems (and hopefully less rust)

My 1.4sr is no ferrari but you can definately tell teh differance between a 1.3 & 1.4 - i have dicked many a 1.3 in my time who think they have what it takes to beat me. Especially mid range there is no contest -due to increased torque on 1.4sr.

lol mine does 122 in 4th gear and thats with me reseting the speedo and a cam and filter

There's no danger a 1.4SR will do 137.......I wish it could as that's what I've got.

I raced a Turbo'd Corsa on my bike and it maxed out at about 135-ish. That's when I decided to pass him, and left him for dead with 2 gears left to go!

There's only one way to go really fast and that's on a bike. Don't care if it's a 2.0 Turbo, most bikes will still waste it!!

In saying that, I'd still like a turbo conversion for my SR!
