View Full Version : 4 Branch lambda hole
If i got a 4 branch for an sri/late gsi, how would i go about making the hole for the lambda sensor? Would it be easy as drill and tap the thread in?
Thanks for any help
If you get a 4branch for a late gsi/sri it should have the lambda hole already in.
If it doesn't, drill a hole and weld in a lambda boss.

The thickness of the material the pipe is made from would not be enough to support a thread. therefore as long live says u will need to drill a hole and weld a boss in. Try a local rolling road place if ur in need of a boss they usually stock them.
I had a boss welded into my SR 4 branch, have it fitted in the side of the collector(where all branches go into one)
Shouldn't cost much for a exhaust/garage place to just weld it in.
