Im looking to upgrade my brakes end of this week, just need advise on what to buy, how much it might cost and how hard fitting is, this is for my nova, only 4 stud, no conversion, just fitted 16's, hopefully looking for a 16v set up or v6 maybe?:thumb:

Id just go for 16v brakes.
Probably get new pads/discs, and second hand calipers for about ?40 ish.

i've recently priced up some 16v brakes for my nova, the prices were from my local motor factors, the disc's were around 14quid each and the calipers were about 50quid each

Yes its worth it.
Astra GTE, Astra GSi, cavalier GSi/SRi, calibra 16v all have the same 256mm brakes.
Just make sure they are 256mm discs, and ATE calipers(like a spring retainer on the front)

definately go for the 16v set-up. more braking than u'd need unless ur a track day warrior running serious power and even then with a bit of cooling (i.e ducts) and good pads they should be pukka.
If u fade them on the road ur driving like a penis. period. lol

lol. yea u have to be going some to fade them. does neone no where you can get the little spring bit on the front, as i was just washing the car a noticed it, well umm missing, and a big score in the disk - blox

i can recommend ds2000 pads and standard discs btw, it's wot i use and a few mates on their tarmac rally cars so cant be bad.
