rear adjustable height suspension/shocks
iv got around ?400 to spend on a suspension kit, but it must have rear adjustable height shocks and springs,
as i want to drop my rear 90+mm and the front around 80mm so i would have to have a full kit, anybody know where i can get a full kit for that price?
the dampers can be fixed just cared about height lol
Try GAZ. For rear coilovers 1.9 springs they are about 75 each + 18 for the springs then VAT. 80 at the rear you'll want 16 (75mm) or 15 (100mm) inch open coilovers. They can prob make some shorter struts and supply springs to match.
yer baxter i want the same sort of kit mate, let me know how you get on finding some. i havent found much though, might have to look at gaz then.

Spax are much better.
You can get a set of height adjustable FK coilovers for ?330. ;)
I've heard they are great for the money.

i think my avo's are sound fella , bout 500 new though
yea i think its only the cheaper ones - they do the silverline one (i guess thats wot u have, riggy) with are coated/plated with somethink to stop them seizing.

Plenty of copper grease on the threads should stop them seizing up.
good thinking, i'll have to do that when i get some.
what you putting copper grease on???
think they mean copper grease the threads on the shock body
Right, thought that may cause its own set of problems. When I spoke to Gaz the other week they do a new hard Nickel coating that doesnt corrode. Saying that my Zinc ones seem to be OK but they havent had road salt round then. A proper "C" spanner helps too!
