Digidash transducer question

Got hold of a cheap digidash, it has the wiring plugs but no transducer.

Will any transducer work with it, or do i need a specific one?
Ive read something about AK 6pulse/16pulse or something, but not 100% sure.

i read somewhere theres 16 different transducers ? not sure how correct this is, do you know anyone else with 1 that you could maybe try ??

there are 2 types, ah and ak whick afaik are 16 and 6 pulse respectively.

6 pulse can be found on any spi nova, corsa etc, the 16pulse ones are digidash specific and therefore sought after.

It also depends what type of dash you have!

Ive used the sender from a mk2 nova 1.2spi on mine and ive clocked my car with a few of my mates cars and it seems to be spot on for speed display accuracy so id recomend using one of them if you can get hold of one??

try the spi one, it will eaither be spot on, or miles out. If it reads under half your actual speed, start trying to find a 16 pulse one. Good luck with that!

Fingers crossed my SPI one will work it, but im 90% sure that it wont, its my luck,Lol.
