hi guys ive fitted a 2.0xe to my nova gte with an mtec fitting kit and im useing the f20 gearbox just im found that the linkage would hit the rack so i bent it back and curved it so it missed the rack then i had to cut about 3/8 of an inch off the nova linkage rod ( the long one which connects to the gear lever ) the problem is now it is extremly hard to find 2nd and 4th and it usually grinds into 2nd reverserve 1st 3rd and 5th are all spot on and are easily reached just the other two which are hard to get

have any off you had these problems im useing a nova engine mount with std nova linkage and it has the alloy spacer between the gearbox and mount

supposed to be going to the neurburg on the 23rd but dnt know if il get there at this rate lol

any help or pics appreciated

thanx in advance

didn't have to chop or bend anything on my linkage

did yours just bolt straight on as it would on a std nova or is there something that should be done differnt with it a guy local to me had the same trouble with his linkage hiting the rack and he said he cut and welded it in a difernt possition thats why i bent mine

yea, just had to spin the plasic clip thing on the gearbox part, so it would mate to the part from the car

do you mean spining the plastic part round so it sticks out 180 degrees from where it should be when used on the std gear box / the part which goes onto the selector rod which is in the gearbox

Yeah, thats all you should need to do when running an F20.
