1.0 Trouble

Last nite my 1.0 nova cracked one the disk-shaped caps that sit on top of the valves. I was just wonderin what the technical name of these are. Also I'm trying to remove the head but cant get the carberettor is held in by 3 screws of some sort which I dont know what they are, they look like alan keys but they dont work. I was wonderin if any1 knows what these are called and what size of instrument you need to remove them. Any help would be appreciated as I want to get my beast back on the road as soon as possible. What do you think of it??
