Help!!!!

i have started to work on my 1.2i nova and i have just found out that my heaters dont blow hot air but they blow cold, and iam puting a new cd player in it but i canna get the old 1 out can any 1 help me?!!!!!:)

What do you mean your heaters only blow out cold air? just the centre ones or all of them?

I just thought all Nova's had poverty spec heating.

It might be that the cable for the heater matrix / temp slider is broken??

but the heater work off the water temp?

I know what you mean S t e, the windscreen demister only works when my engine is warm (and only works very poorly at that). Does the heater matrix use hot water from the engines cooling system?

Yes it does. Our demister works ok-ish until the engine has warmed up, once the engine is warm the heater and demister work perfectly.

yes the heaters work by using the water in the cooling system, hence why they only work when your engine is up to temperature

if its the heater matrixs that is fu*ked then how much would it cost to fix?

might sound stupid but there is still coolant in the system? my water pump o ring went 1 day and i didn't notice it till the heating went cold.

I thought if the heater matrix went it starts p1ssing water out from behind the dash?
