upon choosing an engine ive decided i want to go for either the X14 or X16XE.
on a serious scale, how tricky is this to fit?
both physically and electronically.
cheers
Physically straight in, just mod downpipe to exhaust join.
Electronically, need the immobilliser transponder/key.
The rest of the wiring is just like any other conversion.

il prob be running an F13 from a 1.4SR. will that go straight on too?
ive got a 1.2i at the moment.
guessing il need full loom from corsa, vectra etc etc too
Fit a MPI pump to your 1.2i tank.
You will just need the engine loom.
Just leave the box on that comes with the engine, F15 i think.

its just the engine that im getting
i work at a scrappy and we have a few of these in stock (pre-dismantled)
shall i fit a carb tank and an external pump, cavvy etc etc?
The engine alone is no good, you need the ignition barrel and chip out the ignition key of the donor vehicle.
Keep your SPI tank, and use a internal pump off a astra/cav.

righto
IIRC its out of a 95 corsa.
did they have the chip keys then?
just running through thing incase i do go ahead with it.
?200 for engine with 60K on it
valve stem oil seals.........(14/6XE's burn more oil than saddam)
It will probably be a x16xe then, early corsas had c16xe.
So yep, it will have the chip key etc.
