well as iv had a load of welding done im now on a budget for the engine. am going to track a weber 32/34 carb down, but should i put it on my standard 1.4sr head or get an SRi head to put on while im at it?

will the sri head make much difference, or is it only worth swoping the head when you put 40's on?

cheers all, lew

the inlet manifold wont match so you cant do it,

use a 1.2 head, if your are going for the single weber carb

The SRi head would add about 6-8bhp, as standard.
But as above, you cant get a single carb inlet for a SRi head.

Use a 1200/1300 head, with a cathedral port inlet.

or go round the problem by making an inlet so you can have a single carb ona decent head!
