engine swap!

I have been told by someone who is **** hot on cars that i should consider dropping a 1.5td izuzu engine into my car he sed i will be able to chip it, put a boost valve on it dump vavle and some other things and that it will put things like xr2i`s , vtr`s and 205s to shame. Is this true and would it be a good idea to do this!

That engine is in a fair few novas, and I've heard good things about it. Afaik you need only to turn up the boost.

Personally I think you'd look a twit with a dump valve on a diesel :p.
