x16xe (nova) Alternator fitment Please help

any advice will help need to know wether to use the thicker corsa type alternator / thinner standard nova alternator Do i need to make my own bracket :confused: or is there a standard part or aftermarket bracket

i've used a thinner nova alternator, I have used both upper and lower nova alternator brackets and had to get a longer fan belt from local motor factors (its about 40mm longer than a GSI fan belt)

changet the alternator before you put the corsa engine in the nova, its much much easier

tried that but it fouls the carbs im running twin 45s on a sbd manifold the corsa bracket sort of fits but have no where to really mount the tensioner!

If you are running carbs you need a modified bracket.

Can buy them from anywhere that sells carbs.

im gonna be a pest where abouts could i get the bracket iv tried the few places i know with no luck so far!
