View Full Version : the rubber square that AA use to mend clutch cable
does anyone know what the rubber square things are called that the AA use to mend broken clutch cables ?
I'd call them & ask them! No really :thumb:
god knows, but one of those thingys that they use on pedal bike brakes might do it
tryed the bit off pedal bike it doesnt work,
i need one of the square rubber things theAA use it has a pinch bolt that clamps both ends of the cable together ,
its for a motorbike its had an engine conversion i bought it non running got it to run but the clutch cable is to long need something to space it out to take up the slack
what sort of distance of slack do you need to take up?
could you 'lengthen' the outer by putting a sleeve on the end
its not the outer that needs lentghing the inner needs spaceing out betwwen the clutch lever part on the engine an an the outer (the cable has nipples on both ends so cant take the outer off to cut it down
