solex carbs any good?

are solex twin 40's any good? apparently there the same as weber 40's.

come on people, any one heard much about them? or got any? there like copies of webers, or should i stay clear of them?

just need to know as iv decided to tune my engine on a budget'ish. and i was going to get a 32/34 weber, but now iv seen them it means i can get 40's fairly cheap, so would be good.

Ive heard there not that good.
But they should do the job that a carb is designed to do afterall.

chill the fluck out. you only waited 40 mins on a friday night ffs.....


there might not be the support available for them eg they might use odd jets that weber and dellorto dont use etc..
