The plastic cover under the scuttle panel, is it safe to remove that?
Or will rain run off the windscreen, onto the blower motor and cause a few sparks? Lol

DO you still have the blower motor etc fitted?

I dont want to end up with rain pouring in through the blower hole, and into the car.

Yeah still got the blower motor fitted, theres not exactly gonna be loads of water coming thru the vents.

Rich

ps - don't hold me responsable if the motor catches fire due to it getting wet ! lol

I was loooking under the vents earlier when i was washing the car, and water pours through the vents, and seeing as there are vents all along above the motor, im not sure if it will be ok.

The reason im trying remove it, is that my single wiper linkage rubs it and makes an annoying scrape sound everytime the wiper moves  lol

mine one is leaking through the blower motor hole even though i have the cover over it. so id be on the safe side and leave it on.

has allways been one of the first things to go in the bin for me, only ever had to replace blower motors due to the resistor breaking down.

Lol, ye, but the part where it rubs is the lowest part on the cover, so if i cut it, it will leave a gap right over the motor, so i may as well remove the whole thing if i try and cut bits out of it.

Bloody single wiper,lol.
