They had probably put the motor homes reg plate on it if it was being towed,

They dont make N reg novas neither are private plates starting with N legal on a nova.

would be cool if there was. have heard of this happening, cars that vauxhall couldn't sell and were registered after they had finished production. my brother has an x reg vectra ST which was built in 97 but kept by vauxhall as a show car and so wasn't registered until late 2000. have also heard of a j plate manta and a p plate lotus carlton, but only seems to happen on rare or desirable cars not 1.2merit novas!

to be honest, i couldn't really care for an n reg nova..

2 nova's for example,

N reg, with some rust or A reg, with no rust at all, i'd take the a reg personally

ditto. take the best available, unless your a bit of a sad geek who can only have the "newest" nova regardless of condition lol

^^ less text typing.

iirc you have to use NEW drivetrain parts to make it an 06.
eg if you use an engine and gearbox etc from a 1986 nova then it either gets Q or D reg..

There is a R plate Nova saloon around. Its a 2.0 16v Turbo as the shell turned up in a breakers yard, unregistered & with a factory fit sunroof (apparantly none were ever made!)

Was on cover of a TV Mag way back in 2003 in that Subaru Impreza metallic blue :thumb:

You have to use over 75% new parts to make the car "new" and then it needs Single Vehicle type Approval (SVA) to be registered. Technically, you would be building a kit car!

Costs a lot of money for new parts from Vauxhall!

I saw that saloon at a show 5 years ago, i'm sure it's not an R reg....

That saloon definitely isn't an R-reg plus that shell got written off anyway.

that saloon is in the sept 02 TV. its a blue let with a 1999 shell but its a '84 B reg. it was an un-registered shell in the words of TV.

prehaps its an import
Nope, it would take the letter from the year of manufacture would it not? Hence why all the fresh imported GT4s I've seen aren't new style reg

What's Bullshiit?? The fact Mark's seen a N reg Nova?? He would'nt post up on here that he had seen one when he had'nt!! I've seen the pic over the weekend, but as it's from the wrong angle and from a distance you can't see the licence plate.

so the photo proves nothing, theres no such thing as an n reg nova, i bet it was whatever was towing its reg, or again everybodys playing lets see how gullable everybody is game again like the ooooo i no where theres some new nova shells hidden lmfao

SuperNova!
17-05-06, 03:11 PM
Exactly what I said it was probibly the thing towing its reg, Who cares what reg it was anyway there is no need to get wet about it.

andybishop
17-05-06, 04:38 PM
Nobody's getting wet about it and nobody's playing the "Lets see how gullable everyone is Game", Mark's simply posted up what he's seen, like you would if you'd of seen a N Reg Nova..

As i said the photo does'nt show the plate so it proves nothing!!

What??? There isn't any new nova shells hidden somewhere?? Next you'll be telling us Santa does'nt exist...
