Hi guys, i need to know what i need for this conversion, i currently have a 1.2i mk2 k reg nova and want to drop a redtop 16v into it but am unsure of what i need in the way for my garage to fo it, i have bought the mounting brackets and now just need to source the engine, i am worried about the wiring side of things so is it best to but the redtop complete with ancillires/ loom / gearbox / manifold. will thjis be all that is required. Also when the say loom included, is this all the wiring that will be needed? cheers

best of changing the car's loom for say a loom from a sr etc, the spi engine loom is intergrated with the cars loom, and it dont half make things hard lol

You could tie the SPI loom up out the way.
Its easier than trying remove it from the car loom.

Then wire the XE loom in.

its not just that parts of the cars loom go to the ecu before going engine bay, like rev counter, ecu light etc etc, im not think about extra wires when i say that....

You'll also need a mk3 astra/cav intank MPI fuel pump to fit in your SPi tank.
